Rough Shooting

Our rough shooting is usually combined with a mornings goose flighting, so can vary from a full day to half a day, depending on what you are looking for.

The emphasis is on a mixed bag rather than a large bag, with a good variety of game with often more than ten species of game taken.

Rough shooting is mostly walked up with some drives. Guns are encouraged to bring their own dogs. We can, on request arrange driven days at pheasant and partridge on local estates.

We can also offer a few days walked up or small driven days at grouse each year on local moors
